Mandy Stephens - Acting Director of Operations
I am currently acting as interim Operations Director for HCWH Europe, helping the organisation with growth challenges - a nice problem to have! I am working with the operations, business support and executive leadership teams to ensure an efficient and scalable support system to see HCWH Europe well into the future.
I am a chartered accountant (FCMA, CGMA) with over 35 years of experience in finance and operational leadership roles. I have been lucky enough to have worked in not only different industries and localities over the years but also different sized organisations. They all present their own unique challenges, cultures and constraints, but there is always scope for improvement. However, my speciality has always been in helping growing organisations achieve their potential by identifying and implementing process improvement whilst also ensuring effective control and without sacrificing innovation!
I have always enjoyed DIY, food and cooking and also love to knit, crochet and sew. My dog helps me keep active, and my husband and I love to travel and camp with our motorbikes and look forward to one day heading off on an adventure across the globe! I am also a trustee and the treasurer for a UK-based charity called Mental Health Motorbike, combining two of my special interests.
