Beth Stagg - Director of Communications & Marketing
My work at HCWH Europe focuses on broadening the reach and impact of HCWH’s projects to mobilise action towards sustainable healthcare. I’m also responsible for our membership networks and events, which support the healthcare community to accelerate progress through the sharing of ideas, learnings and best practice.
Specialising in healthcare throughout my career, I started out in the NHS before shifting from bed planning to brand planning and moving into communications. My experience spans 18 years in consultancy, strategy and leadership roles for global communications agencies, working with businesses and brands across the health sector.
A lockdown epiphany led me to want to transition my career towards climate action, and I’m now in the final year of a MSc in Sustainability at Cranfield University, where I have focused on sustainable healthcare. I also hold a BSc (Hons) in Cancer Biology and Immunology from the University of Bristol, and a Diploma in Marketing from the CIM.
When not working or studying, I love spending time in the great outdoors, with mountain biking always at the top of my list. When the weather stops play, I like to get creative in the kitchen as a beginner vegan baker.
