Louise Mathieu - Programme Assistant

I currently assist the Safer Pharma and Circular Healthcare programme teams, as well as provide occasional support for the Climate-smart Healthcare programme. I conduct research, coordinate projects, and assist my colleagues in their advocacy work.

I hold a double degree in Comparative Law in France and Spain, obtained at both the University of Assas Paris II and the Autonomous University of Barcelona. I began my professional career working for a law firm before deciding to study for an MSc in Global Health Law and Governance, as I was very interested in bioethics and legal issues related to health. I’m a native French speaker, and I also speak Spanish and English. Having discovered and become interested in environmental health during my studies, I joined HCWH Europe because I was very attracted by the vision and mission of the organisation.

In my spare time, I like to read or watch new films and be outside as much as possible. I'm becoming more and more fond of badminton and hiking. Originally from Lyon, I am a mountain lover, and I take advantage of the few opportunities I have to go skiing. The rest of the time (if the sun is shining) you will probably see me in one of the many parks around Brussels.
