At HCWH Europe, I act as a liaison between the Communications and Climate-smart Healthcare teams, ensuring that the communications requirements of the Climate-smart Healthcare team are met – from developing the climate communications strategy to producing content for websites and providing support for events and campaigns.
Before joining HCWH Europe, I worked as a Communications Officer at a London-based non-profit, where I was responsible for producing and managing multimedia content for their website and social media. Although I completed internships at various newspapers during my undergraduate degree, it was while working at an EU research institute in Italy that I realised I was more passionate about communications.
I hold a BA in journalism from City University of London and an MSc in Communication Science from the University of Amsterdam.
I joined HCWH Europe because I am very excited by the organisation’s role in communicating the climate crisis as a health crisis. As this becomes more important than ever, I am eager to use my passion for communications to help spread this message further, working with healthcare professionals throughout Europe to do so.
Outside of work, I enjoy reading, music, and exploring new places with my camera. While bookstores, live-music venues, and Asian food stores are some of my favourite hangouts; I also aim to visit as many of the museums in Brussels as possible. The rest of my time is spent on Netflix, in cat cafés, and swimming (preferably in the sea).
