Great Progress but Your Help is Still Needed Hopefully you are all well aware of the Declaration on Safer Medical Device that HCWH Europe launched last week. If you are not, you can access the document here. We are extremely proud of the support that we have received from not only throughout Europe but all around the world and we are adding more organisations and associations to the Declaration every day. As the Environment Committee’s vote for on the Medical Device regulation was pushed back until September 2013, it is even more of a reason to really demonstrate the level of demand that exists to phase out hazardous chemicals in medical devices. If you are a health organisation or association and would like to join the Declaration, please contact our Press and Communications Officer, Josh Edwards. For anyone and everyone else, we kindly encourage you to support this push for a more responsible healthcare system by signing on to our petition. (more). |
