Europe’s 2022 Health Care Climate Champions

This year’s Health Care Climate Champions have been announced, with 14 from Europe. More than 50 healthcare institutions from over 15 countries building Climate-smart Healthcare across the globe are recognised in the 2022 Health Care Climate Challenge.

The awards recognise the work of these institutions across the three pillars of the Health Care Climate Challenge: mitigation, resilience, and leadership. Reducing their climate footprint, powering their facilities with renewable energy, or collaborating with their communities to prepare for the impacts of climate change, these institutions are using their innovation, ingenuity, and investment to protect people and the planet.

It is an honour to celebrate these institutions for their commitment and success. We look forward to showcasing their work and supporting and inspiring other hospitals and health systems to take on the Health Care Climate Challenge.
